If you have Organization Admin permissions, you can enable yourself and other users to view a Sponsor Dashboard that shows the sponsorship pipeline and includes an easy way to communicate with the sponsorship committee members.

How to enable the Sponsor Dashboard:

  1. From Project Home, click Project Settings under the Project Tasks header.
  2. Click the Committees tab and confirm you have at least one "Sponsorship" committee. If you do not, Add a committee that will be responsible for Sponsorships.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Project Settings
  5. Click the Edit button in the dark grey bar.
  6. In the Sponsorship Committee drop-down list, select the name of your sponsorship committee.
  7. Click the Save button.
  8. Back on the Project Home, go to View/Edit Supporters under the Supporters header.
  9. Using Advanced Search, filter by Include Only Staff Who.
  10. Assign each appropriate Staff member to the Sponsorship committee.
    • Click Edit on the staff member.
    • Click the Staff tab.
    • Check the Sponsorship

  11. In the Organization Home, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the View/Edit Users & Permissions link.
  12. Select the user you want to see the Sponsor Dashboard, click the Edit button.
  13. Scroll down to your project and select View Sponsor Dashboard.
You may instead select View Sponsor Dashboard in the Default Permissions section and scroll down to check Apply Defaults to All Projects if appropriate.
  14. Click the Save button.

Note: If you plan to use the Sponsor Dashboard to communicate with people outside of your organization, you can select only the View Sponsor Dashboard option and unselect all other options. This means the user sees the Sponsor Dashboard only and no other project details.

How to edit/change the sponsorship committee:

  1. From the Project Home, click Project Settings under the Project Tasks header.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. In the Sponsorship Committee drop-down list, select the name of your sponsorship committee.
  4. Click the Save button.

How to set a pipeline goal:

  1. From the Project Home, click Project Settings under the Project Tasks header.

  3. Click the Add button.
  4. Add one or more accounting types with the word "sponsorship" in the name.

  2. If you have a Sponsorship Committee, you can send email to all members. Click the Email everyone in committee link.
  3. You can export the sponsorship status to Word or Excel by clicking the Export to Word or Export to Excel links. The export automatically displays the Show Details information for all. You can save these files if you would like.
