Online Bidding: Configuring Package Classes

In Online Bidding, the packages are organized by the Classes (categories) the packages are assigned to. This is a recommended step as it allows your Supporters to easily sort by Packages they are interested in. Some Classes are preloaded into Greater Giving Online, but you can of course also create your own. Configuring Class is done in your Project Settings, and actually applied to Packages by Editing a Package.

  1. From the Project Home, click Project Settings under the Project Tasks header.
  2. Locate and click the Classes tab.
  3. Click the Add button to create a new Class, or Edit to make changes to a current Class.
  4. Next to Class: enter the name you wish to call this Class (e.g. Sports, Health and Beauty, Wine and Spirits, On the Town, Dining, Travel, and Kids and Family). 
  5. Click the Save button.
